Caroline Nichols is an experienced local campaigner having previously been both a County and Borough Councillor. She grew up in Spelthorne and brought up her family here. Caroline is a qualified accountant, with senior management experience in the public and private sectors. Having served on the former North West Surrey Community Health Council, including a period as vice-chairman, she is an experienced campaigner for improvements in NHS services. She is passionate about the needs of vulnerable groups, particularly the frail elderly and their carers. As a County Councillor she helped develop Surrey's dementia support services and was a member of the County Council's mental health working group.

Caroline is a keen gardener and her priorities include protecting the Green Belt, creating better play spaces, road safety, better bus routes and improved recycling facilities.
