Sunbury Active Travel zone proposal

The government require that the scheme is implemented very quickly - before the end of August. This will be done by putting temporary road obstructions in place which can be removed at a later date if the scheme is not working.

The intention of the proposal is to block six roads and prevent through traffic, without allowing "rat runs" to develop. Therefore the scheme must prevent all possible through routes by blocking roads at strategic points.
