Unable to vote on 4th June? Why not get a postal vote?

3 May 2009

You can register to vote by post up until 5:00 PM on Tuesday 19th May. The link at the bottom of this article will take you to the postal voting form which you can print an then send into the Council.

Local Liberal Democrats want as many people as possible to vote as we regard participating in democratic elections as being very important.

The way you vote does make a difference. When people don't take the opportunity of voting in elections the elected representatives become complacent and don't bother to listen to what people want.

Of course we want you to vote for the Liberal Democrat candidates on 4th June, but we also want to see a high turnout so that the elections are truly democratic and representative.
