A taste of things to come!
Harry Boparai, the man widely tipped to be Spelthorne's next MP, was delighted to be invited to Westminster by the Deputy Leader of the Liberal Democrats, Daisy Cooper, for a taste of things to come. Sadly Harry was not able to use his Oyster card to travel from Spelthorne to Westminster as successive Conservative governments have refused to listen to pleas from local residents. Extending the Oyster card zone to include Spelthorne will be one of Harry's objectives if elected to Parliament. However his top priorities will be the cost of living crisis & the NHS.
"It is a national scandal that in the 21st century working families should be dependent upon food banks to survive & that there are seven million people on hospital waiting lists,' said Harry.
"I'm backing Harry!" said Daisy. "Spelthorne needs a hard-working & compassionate MP, who actually lives in the constituency and cares about his community,"
Daisy is not alone. Spelthorne residents of all parties and none are offering Harry their support.
