So far BREXIT has cost every family £400

The highly respected Centre for Economic Performance, based at the London School of Economics, has published research that estimates the cost of BREXIT so far at £404 per household. The researchers, four top UK academics, sought to put a cash value on the impact on individuals of Brexit.

Cedars Recreation Ground gets a facelift

The project to lay a path around the perimeter of Cedars Recreation Ground was suggested by a local Sunbury resident who was having problems using the park for her disabled son as pushing a chair around without a solid path was difficult. Around the same time local Councillors were given a Windfall Grant from Spelthorne and this has been used for the project which started at the beginning of September.

There is growing concern for the state of Surrey County Council's finances. Over the last 6 years council tax in Surrey has gone up almost 20%, while many have seen only small increases in wages. In spite of these increases, we are facing a staggering £123m of cuts to services in the next 12 months.
