Surrey Tories vote themselves £214,000 from your taxes

Surrey Tories have shown just how little they care about their electorate by voting themselves increases that amount to £214,000 per year. While everyone else is being told about the need for austerity, the leader and deputy leader have pushed through 60% increases in their own salaries.

Thousands of businesses will go bust in a matter of months taking hundreds of thousands of jobs with them We will plunge into a recession worse than Greece Within two 2 years thousands more businesses will go under Job losses running into the millions as businesses slash their workforces in an effort to survive. This is NOT a Lib Dem analysis but the dire warning of the Confederation of British Industry (CBI) as to what would happen if Britain was to come out of Europe. The South East would lose an estimated 400,000 jobs we would be the worst hit part of the the country.

Spelthorne Tories continue to plan to over-build against their own target

Each Year Spelthorne has to submit an Annual Monitoring Report (AMR) to government. Included within this are the details of the number of new houses built and estimates for future years. These figures show that in the next few years Spelthorne Borough Council is planning a huge bulge in the projected number of completions way above target.
